Fall Camp November 28-30th 📣

Great for beginners and intermediate riders! Three fun filled days of riding lessons, horse activities, camp games, crafts, and making new friends!

Campers are broken into groups based off their riding level: No experience, beginners, and intermediate

Campers learn all about the horses, how to care for them, anatomy, and most importantly how to have fun with them 🐎

Exciting day for one of the horses at the farm for training! Thumper needed a little help with learning that trailer loading can be fun and not stressful. After a few short sessions Thumper self loaded today 🥳 Consistency and positive experiences are so important for teaching good trailering manners.

One stall coming available at Achnacarry Stables off of 15-501 in Carthage right by Pinehurst Traffic Circle.

Full care board, partial and full training, consignment board, and rehab programs available

Our amenities include

•12x12 stalls, 12x24 for long care rehab available

•Indoor wash stall with hot and cold water

•Beautiful tack room with laundry facilities, bathroom, and coffee and snack bar

•Multiple riding areas including: Round Pen, Dressage Ring, Jump Field, XC elements, and trails

•Various Turnout options

We’re an active facility that regularly attends H/J, CTs, Dressage shows, and Horse Trials both in and out of state. We have a very active teen group! Come out for a barn tour and see if our program is a good fit for you and your horse’s goals!

Horse show updates 🎉 Sedgefield Early Fall saw Evie and Prince step back into the show ring and have two cute rounds on the flat to earn a 2nd and 3rd place 💗 October WarHorse: Addie and Six Pack Sam took 3rd place in the junior BN division and will be prepping for their Championship run next month 🥉. Shannon and Hattie moved up to Novice and had some fun rounds! Ready to keep hustling for their fall and winter season Sedgefield Fall introduced Angela to her first ever horse show! Sterling carried her perfectly in the .65s for a second place finish 🥈 🥳

Little summer throwback to one of the lovely babies we started this year. Mikey here is a lovely 5 year old Arabian. Mikey came to be started under saddle for two months and demonstrated that, while handling him on the ground was a piece of cake, having a rider on top of him made him anxious. With the help of my lovely assistant and working student we started off slow in the round pen with mounting and taking just a few steps and being rewarded. With hard work and patience we ended the two months being able to walk/trot in the dressage ring and over poles happily and confident! Mikey will be back in the spring to continue his training after spending some time continuing his liberty training

Looking for something exciting to do during winter break? Our Winter Horse Riding Camp is the perfect way for riders to stay active, learn new skills, and spend time with horses even in the cooler months.

Campers will:
• Ride daily with individualized instruction
• Learn horse care and barn management skills
• Enjoy fun horse-themed activities and games
• Build confidence and friendships in a supportive environment

This camp is open to beginner and intermediate riders. No prior experience needed—just bring warm layers and a love for horses!

Addy and Faith move up weekend!

Addy and Sammy led their BN junior division on a dressage score of 30.6 to finish double clear and claim 1st place 🥇

Faith and Citi put in the work to finish double clear on their dressage score of a 35 and claim 5th place and TIP High Point for the BN junior division 💕

Big congrats to these girls and their hard work paying off

Looking for the perfect way to wrap up summer break? Join us for our last beginner/intermediate horse riding camp of the season!

Campers will:
• Learn safe horse handling and basic riding skills
• Groom, tack up, and care for their own horse each day
• Participate in horse-themed games and activities
• Build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork
• Make great memories (and new friends—horse and human!)

This camp is ideal for first-time riders or those with some experience at the walk and trot.
