Just want to remind everyone of our upcoming Billy Smith clinic on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Billy will be working with a number of horses and helping their owners learn new horsemanship skills. Those skills will help them develop new ways of communicating with their horses in a manner that builds on safety, trust and mutual respect. While all the spots for working with Billy with your own horse, have been filled, auditors are still welcome. The fee for auditing is $20.00 and will be well worth the time and costs. On Sunday, July 17, 2022, Kettledrum Farm is please to host Billy Smith. Billy is an equine behaviorist who specializes in rehabilitating problem horses, backing youngsters and teaching new and established riders how to achieve connection and "feel". Kettledrum Farm has three open stalls available for full board. The farm has a large indoor and a small hunt field. All day turn out with three hay feeding per day. We also feed a variety of top brand grains. If you wish additional information, please call or text Maggie at 203-264-0462.

So excited to order 1,000 feet of new fencing. Can't wait for the work to start. Should make a big difference in letting horses have grazing paddocks. Yippee

Once second of pretty from the farm yesterday. We had lovely weather both yesterday and today. These flowers are from my husband's flower garden. Since he is home, he has had a lot of time to work on it.

This was the cute picture from yesterday. We didn't have very nice weather and I missed the robins hunting for food along the side of the riding arena where there was no snow. This horse is luccas who was busy finishing his hot dinner. Everyone else had finished and were in their sheds and stalls for the night.

We are pleased to announce that we currently have three trainers working at Kettledrum Farm. We can assist riders in beginner lessons, intermediate dressage and jumping. We also can help anyone who wishes to trailer in for western lessons.

Got off to a beautiful start today even with the cold. Everyone is out enjoying the breakfast hay, the sun is shining and the farm is quiet except for the birds singing.
