Nacho came to see us for his feline neuter, and this handsome boy handled his visit like a champ! ✨

Sweet Dallas had a big day today!

This beautiful girl got a full exam and workup, and we’re happy to report that she tested HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!
She is now up to date on all of her vaccines, has been started on heartworm and flea prevention, wormed, and even stayed for a much-deserved spa day. Just look at how pretty she is!

A huge THANK YOU to DeSoto County Animal Clinic for taking such wonderful care of our sweet girl today. We are so grateful for the amazing care they give our rescue dogs.

Dallas isn’t quite finished with her makeover yet! She’ll head back on Wednesday for a much-needed dental cleaning, and then this girl will truly be ready for the next chapter of her life❤️

🐾 Healthy Weight = Healthy Life! 🐾

Just look at Stella showing off what an ideal body condition can look like! 💕🐶

A healthy body condition score (BCS) means your dog has a visible “tuck” of the abdomen when viewed from the side, a defined waist when viewed from above, and ribs that can be easily felt without being overly prominent. You should also be able to feel the backbone and other bony landmarks without a thick layer of fat covering them.

Maintaining a healthy weight is about so much more than appearance, it can help support your pet’s joints, mobility, heart health, energy levels, and overall quality of life. ❤️

And we know some dogs seem to survive on nothing but air and good vibes 😂 while still gaining weight! If your pet struggles to maintain a healthy weight, our team can help with nutrition recommendations, weight-management plans, and regular weigh-ins.
