The journey of our survivors is not the same journey that typical rescued dogs encounter. They may look similar, but our dogs come from a background of abuse, loneliness and fear. Places like research laboratories and breeding facilities who treat them as chattel and test subjects, are void of any empathy and love.

It takes a very open-hearted and understanding person to adopt or foster one of our special babies. Memories of past horrors can be triggered by something so simple as the sound of a text message, or the flash from a camera. However, once trust is gained and the unfamiliar comfort of being loved becomes real, you will find the best friend you have ever known. ❤️
