Happy 10th birthday to Bella's puppies. Lila Rose continues to grieve over the death of her mother, but she is regaining some of her pep. She ate a Pupcake for her birthday. She also had T-bone steak flavored canned dog food. We are blessed to have her in our lives.

Welcome First Day of Spring. It is a sunny 37* with snow on the ground in the U.P. of Michigan. This is LilaRose at 6 weeks old. She was a licker from day one.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the sunny U.P. of Michigan. We just had our St. Patrick's Day snow storm. Many towns broke their snow fall records receiving over 30" of snow. This is Lila's first St. Patrick's Day without momma BellaDonna. She is still grieving the passing. She isn't eating as much, she lays on her momma's dog bed (she would never do that before), she refused to walk on the trails, and she even refused to ride in the snowplow truck. We are giving her lots of hugs, treats, and kisses. I hope she snaps out of it soon. We worry about her.

Happy Valentines Day from the sunny 40* U.P. This is the first holiday picture with Lila alone. She really misses her momma Bella. She is grieving and not eating. We had to resort to feeding her canned food in an attempt to coax her to eat. Our whole daily routine is changed without our sweetheart BellaDonna. So, hug those pets and cherish the time you are blessed to have them in your life.

It is with a heavy heart that we say BellaDonna crossed the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. She was 2 months shy of her 12th birthday. We will miss our bossy, loving, ball obsessed "Momma". We tried to create a "Rainbow Bridge" background with her picture as a memorial, but we couldn't figure out how to do it. R.I.P. Bella sweetheart.

The U.P. is under a cold spell. It has been below 0* with windchills even colder. Schools were cancelled on Monday and Friday. I had to break out the sweaters and booties to protect the girls from frostbite. Please keep your pets warm and safe.

Happy Thanksgiving 2025 From the U.P. of Michigan. We are still digging ourselves out of the blizzard that dumped a foot or more of snow on us. Traveling to the U.P. is very hazardous. Stay safe everyone. May your home be blessed with delicious food and fond memories.

Happy Halloween 2025. BellaDonna (left) is 11.5 years old. Her daughter Lila Rose (right) is 9.5 years old. With chicken jerkey treats, they cooperated with the dressing as clowns. Keep your pets safe and have a spooky Friday Halloween.

Happy first day of fall. It was a warm 70* day in the U.P. It rained and the mushrooms are popping out. The leaves are slowly turning color.
