We are looking for some part time barn help! One of our awesome employees has left for a new opportunity in a new city, and we couldn’t be happier for her, but now we much find a new employee!
It’s a part time gig, mostly mornings, occasionally an evening or two. It’s VERY part time, think a handful of days a month, and mostly weekends.
Work takes about 1-2 hours (or less!) depending on how fast you work, and we pay extremely well for a job well done.
You MUST have prior horse experience. While all of our horses are extremely well behaved, you have to be ready for the occasional *opinion* they might have.
Duties include: feeding, turning them out/in, cleaning and bedding stalls, etc. We will train you to make sure you’re comfortable with the duties.

WE ARE HIRING!

H&H Equestrian Center is looking for 1-2 motived individuals to help out with occasional farm chores.

AM & PM shifts.

Duties include:
-feeding horses
-turnout/bringing horses inside
-stall cleaning

Average of 1-2 hours AM and 1 hour PM

This is a part time job, usually just a handful of days per month. Perfect for a college student who misses their horse at home or somebody looking to make some extra cash for their horse fund.

You must have some sort of horse experience and be comfortable handling horses.

Must be reliable, a self starter, and an efficient worker.

Pay is dependent on experience, but we pay well for a job well done. Ride time also a possibility depending on experience, not guaranteed. Mostly weekend work, some weekdays as well. Schedule is known well in advance, no surprises.

Voodoo is back up for lease, and searching for a very special person to spend some time with.

He’s just turned 13, stands around 15.1, he’s big and stocky, and is absolutely gorgeous! He has a very sweet and gentle soul, but he has a few quirks, so an intermediate rider is best suited for him. He’s not naughty, there’s not a mean bone in his system, but some point in his life, somebody wasn’t very nice to him and his behavior reflects that. He has done some beginner rider lessons and handled them great, but he can be very timid around new people, and doesn’t really like fast movements or loud noises. He needs a very special person who can be patient and kind with him until he gets to know you. Once he gets comfortable with you, he’s a big puppy.

Voodoo loves to stand for hours and be groomed. Rides very well under saddle, walk, trot, canter. Western and English. Neck reins and direct reins. He needs a quiet, confident rider to help bring out the best in him, as he will look to you for guidance. He really seems like the horse that bonds well with one person, and that’s why I would like to find him a new friend.
If I had more time to ride him, he wouldn’t be up for lease, but he wants a job and doesn’t get used in lessons often enough for me to justify him sitting around.

Lease price includes all his tack. 6 month minimum, opportunity to extend if you wish.
Lessons available as well.
Large indoor arena on site for year round riding!
On site lease ONLY.
You pay monthly lease fee + farrier, and I take care of the rest!
