We are saddened to have to post this letter from our guiding light and president, Ruth, but JAC has officially closed.
Please read Ruth's letter and we invite you to post your pets that were adopted from us and we will make an album. If you could also say what your pet or JAC meant to you, it would mean a lot to the people that worked so hard for 29 years to rescue over 25,000 homeless dog, cats, puppies, and kittens. Thank you for all your support.

We leave with the knowledge that since our founding in 1989, JAC filled a gaping void in our communities by providing a safe haven for its stray, lost, and abandoned animals. UPDATE: Oscar has been reunited with his family!!!! He and his brother, Felix, were adopted from the JAC together and are 9 1/2 years old.

Dear friends, Montville Animal Control picked up this dog who has a Jersey Animal Coalition microchip, but the owner did not provide their contact information. Do you recognize this dog or know someone who is missing him? Please reach out to Montville Animal Control at 973-334-6410.
