rament. Medications are administered at no extra cost, and each pet receives personalized, one-on-one attention. Our manager, Terri, has been an invaluable part of our team for many years. With her background as a former veterinary technician, she brings both expertise and a deep understanding of animal care, which has greatly shaped the high standards we maintain. Dogs enjoy spacious individual runs, four private play yards, daily playgroups tailored to your pet's play personality, and four walks a day. For dogs who prefer people over playmates, our staff provides plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. We also offer professional grooming with our experienced groomer, Jennifer, who has been with us for many years. Services include baths, nail trims, and full grooming with haircuts, all tailored to the needs of your pet. Remember Tipsy? This sweet girl is ready to find her new home!! After a few weeks of healing and putting weight on, she is ready for her next adventure in life!
While this sweet girl is very young (under a year old) she does come with her baggage. We believe Tipsy may have had a head trauma in her past, which causes her head tilt and unbalanced manner! She is litter box trained and is great with people, so she would make a perfect addition to any home that's wiling to have a spunky kitty around! Because Tipsy was rescued we don't know a lot of her past, here at AHK we have seen she tends to be more afraid around dogs, but is curious about them!

Her ideal home would be:
-Happy to entertain her young cat energy
-Either dog-less or has a non cat aggressive dog for her to warm up to
-Understands and willing to work with her quirks
-Most important... loving

💛 Meet Tipsy — the tiny miracle who’s already stolen our hearts. 💛

Just days ago, Detroit firefighters pulled this sweet baby from a cardboard box beside a burning building. She came to us trembling, and so impossibly small… but with a spark of life that refused to go out. We’re still in awe that she was found in time.

And somehow, despite everything she’s been through, Tipsy is pure sunshine.
She wobbles when she walks, but she’ll wobble her way right into your lap for cuddles. She plays with the gentlest enthusiasm, like she’s discovering joy for the very first time. And that little white‑tipped tail? It flicks around like she’s painting hope back into the world.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be giving her all the love, care, and stability she needs to grow strong. She deserves nothing less.
