In an exciting initiative (from now until the end of January), Jennifer's Chocolates, located at 160 Old Tower Hill Rd in Wakefield, RI, is supporting animal welfare by donating $1 to Animal Rescue Rhode Island for each "Puppy Paw" chocolate sold.

Trixie is waiting for that one special person šŸ¾

This 7-year-old calico has lived a life full of responsibility and uncertainty. She came to us as an older, pregnant stray, and itā€™s likely sheā€™s been a mom many times. Now, sheā€™s longing for something sheā€™s never truly had ā€” a quiet, safe home and a patient heart willing to move at her pace.

Trixie isnā€™t the kind of cat who rushes into your arms.... but she has definitely made strides, and has even gotten brave enough to crawl in to a lap when she feels ready to!

She needs someone gentle, understanding, and kind enough to let her choose when to trust. But for the person who gives her that time and space, she will blossom into the most devoted companion.

He is a 2-year-old, 51-lb affectionate, calm but excitable boy with a polite personality.
