FOR LEASE: 15.1hh, 2018 Hanoverian mare, Bodi is a big horse in a small package looking for a confident rider to have fun with.
Bodi is schooling second level dressage, having shown through first level, but is telling us she would rather be an event horse or jumper. She is green to jumping and XC but has proven to be willing and brave both on and off the property. She has free-jumped up to 3’6” with ease and is currently jumping 2’3”-2’6” courses with an experienced rider. She has big powerful gaits and lots of talent.
Bodi was purchased as a dressage horse at 3yrs old and it has become clear that she wants a more exciting job that includes jumping. She hacks out alone or with company, has no issues with water, ditches, or banks, and is a total sweetheart on the ground. Under saddle she is sensitive but straightforward to ride.
Bodi is excellent for the farrier and vet. She is shod all around and is fit and ready to go. She is a mild cribber, controlled by a collar in the stall, and does best with a lot of turn out time. Bodi does have some quirks that make her best suited for a confident and strong rider but she has shown to be much more at ease since she started jumping.
