Hey SH Dog Parkers!! A BIG Shout-Out to some folks taking initiative to volunteer and help maintain the dog park! Mary, Jenna, Cait, Sue, Nichole, Cathy, and Austin: THANK YOU for cleaning up the small dog park side! And, THANK YOU to Chad and Linda for mowing the grass. Great community spirit 🐶🌻🌳🥰

We are having an issue with algae on the concrete at the South Hadley Dog Park. The source of it is the water from the pools and the hose. We're asking people to fill up and empty the pools on the grass, and asking people to keep the hose off the concrete as well. Thank you very much for your help with this! 🙂

For dog owners over 60, you may be interested in this information from the South Hadley Council on Aging. Free veterinary exams with vaccines, flea treatment, nail trims, microchip, deworming, and some testing, if requested. This is fantastic! Information below.

Resource Sharing: Patrons frequently use the park to exchange valuable local information, such as recommendations for veterinarians, groomers, and even local housing or employment opportunities.

This happens in person at the park, but it can also happen online at our South Hadley Dog Park Community Group page. Feel free to join, and post questions and share experiences!

Dog p**p is on my mind! Dog p**p, dog p**p, dog p**p, dog p**p, dog p**p, dog p**p, dog p**p! Please help us with the dog p**p!! Volunteers have been picking up a lot of p**p lately. Please help out! If your dog p**ps, please notice, and pick it up! We do not have a paid staff that picks up after your dog. Thank you very very much! And hey, If you notice somebody else's dog taking a p**p, and the owner is distracted, and not picking it up, this is the honor system, so please gently point it out to the dog owner. If it's not picked up, the dog park is going to become quite FUNKY... in a bad way, people. There are all sorts of diseases that are spread from dog to dog through dog p**p, so please, do your part!
