Update!!
Back in May, I made my “Sorry, We’re Closed” post. At the time, I truly hoped it would only be temporary and that I would be able to return to caring for all of your fur babies sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone the way I hoped, so I wanted to give everyone a little update. Over the past few months, I’ve been going through appointments, an MRI, medications, injections, and different treatments I’m dealing with severe spinal stenosis, herniated/degenerating discs, and nerves being compressed in my lower back. My first spinal injection unfortunately didn’t help, and after going over everything with my doctor, surgery may eventually be my next step. The surgery would create more room for the nerves that are currently being compressed. However, I’m not able to have the surgery right now. Before my doctor can safely move forward with it, I need to focus on losing weight so that surgery, healing, and recovery can be safer for me. Because losing the weight I need to lose and getting my back taken care of is going to take time, most likely will not be returning to dog sitting/daycare for the remainder of this year. 🥺 That is extremely hard for me to say. When I originally closed in May, I never imagined I would be away for this long. I miss my little business, I miss the routine, and most of all, I miss every single one of your babies as much as I would love to come back sooner, caring for dogs requires a lot physically walking, bending, cleaning, lifting, playing, and sometimes handling very strong or excited pups. Right now, my body simply can’t safely do those things, So for now, my small business will remain closed This isn’t goodbye. It’s just going to be a much longer break than I originally expected.
To all of my clients who have continued checking on me, asking how I’m doing, and asking when I’ll be back thank you. Your patience, kindness, and support mean more to me than you know. Please give all of my fur babies some extra love from me.
I hope that when I’m finally healthy enough to come back, I’ll get to see all those familiar little faces running through my doors again.🥰🥰🥰
