Emme had a severe itch problem that caused her to beat her ears around the clock. In fact, she twice had to go to the vet for an operation to repair broken blood vessels that caused a large hematoma, one in each ear.
The vet recommended putting her on hypoallergenic dog food, which didn’t really work. She also gave her some $75 ear treatment which also didn’t do much. Then I was reading about a supplement by My Dog Is Human that is supposed to stop itching. It contains vitamin E and Omega 3 fish oil. Instead of buying an expensive supplement that’s mostly fillers, I figured I could just give her the vitamin E and the Omega 3 directly. It worked! In less than a week she stopped scratching and hasn’t scratched since.
Thought I’d share since everyone’s dog gets skin irritations from time to time.

Received the cutest picture from one of our owners. Finn and Willow are two of Lily’s puppies but from different fathers, a year apart. Willow was last to go in her litter, if you can believe it.
So, how do photographers get their subjects to stay so still? It a mystery to me!

On Sunday, a nice couple came to buy a puppy as a surprise gift for their son. They were referred to us by one of our early customers, who told them “don’t go anywhere else “.
They hit it off right away with Red Collar, who is energetic and snuggly at the same time. They took him home, and the first report we received (less than a day later) was “They’re in love and can’t imagine life without him”.
Then this morning we received the nicest email from our newest puppy parents; “Thank you both again for working with us and helping us find our best boy! My son cried and cried because in his words “I can’t believe I have a puppy!” We let him name him and he picked Oreo!”
So the pup that wouldn’t sell has found the perfect forever home where he and his new nine year old companion will grow up together and enjoy that special bond that forms between a boy and his dog.

Last of the Bernadoodle litter! He’s very mellow and non-shedding. He has a brother from another litter that is a therapy dog working with children in the court system, so you know he comes from good stock. Oh, and did I mention he loves to cuddle on the couch and watch TV?
He’d be great with kids and other pets, would you like to come see him?

Well, Green Collar is now Charlie, and these girls traveled two hours from St. Albans to pick her up. They are so excited, and we are happy for them!!

The last of the litter, keeping cool on a hot summer day. These guys act so calmly and maturely people can't believe they're just puppies!

We are discounting the last three available of this great litter (the black one is the male). Positive reviews so far from thrilled owners.

Kaya’s owner writes: “Kaya had her vet appointment today and first trip to a senior living center. She was fabulous! She does really well on a leash and we have taught her “off” so if we say “off” she doesn't jump. She greated them happy with a tail wag and kisses. We all stayed calm so she did too. She got a lot of attention and caused a lot of smiles it was beautiful!”

And Daisy’s owner writes: “Hi! Just wanted to give you an update about our beautiful Daisy. She hasn't had an accident in the house since Wednesday and is being SUCH a good girl about playing with her own toys and not chewing much that she isn't supposed to. She's very laid-back most of the time and is shockingly well-behaved for such a young puppy. You weren't kidding about her being smart, either! We're continually impressed at how fast she learns. We adore her!“

Well, puppy number three has found a forever home. She’ll be living northeast of Augusta with three kids and a golden retriever to play with. Atta girl, Daisy, enjoy your new life!!
We are down to the last three. We hope they find homes as great as the first three!

We were going to keep this little girl but have decided to pass her on to a new owner. She’s black and white with brown highlights, and has a very calm and gentle disposition. She can easily be trained to be a comfort dog or therapy dog and would love to be around children. She will be available sometime in June, let us know if you’d like to come see her.

The first two puppies have left the fold. Eight weeks seems to go by so quickly.
Both are going to great homes so we’re very happy about that!
