After a dramatic and mildly ridiculous adventure, Cappi—who apparently decided Thursday afternoon was the perfect time for a solo nature retreat—has finally been found. Perhaps in search of enlightenment, or maybe just better grass, Cappi wandered off with no forwarding address, leaving everyone scratching their heads (and checking behind every tree). Huge thanks to the heroic park staff who went full “Mission: Im-hoof-sible” mode, deploying a thermal drone, several ATVs, and presumably a lot of carrots. Cappi is back, slightly dirty, and is very appreciative of the park staff for helping to get her back home.
