✨ January Lesson Books Are Filling Quickly ✨

I’ve had several people reach out with questions, so I wanted to make everyone aware that January availability is already filling up fast — especially afternoon time slots now that everyone is back in school. If you’ve been on the fence, please don’t hesitate to call or text me.

And remember — there is no such thing as a dumb question. The only question that’s dumb is the one that’s never asked.

I’m also excited to share that I am now willing to travel to you, which is something brand new to my program and has opened up more opportunities for riders who may not be able to haul in.

For those considering lessons, I would love for some of my past lesson kiddos or parents to drop a comment below and share their experience for anyone who may still be deciding 👇🤍

Lastly, please don’t let the title “Barrel & Pole Lessons” discourage you — you do not have to do both disciplines. I’m more than happy to teach barrels only or poles only, depending on what you and your horse need.

⭐️⭐️LESSON UPDATE⭐️⭐️

All lessons prices will be moving to subscription based as of July 10, 2023.
Rates will be based off of an 8 lesson a month lesson plan or a 4 lesson a month lesson plan. I will still offer a single lesson booking I just can not promise availability because the subscription will have the first pick of the schedule. Any remaining spots can be filled on a single lesson basis. If you want more than your allotted amount of lessons in your lesson plan you will still receive priority booking but you will not receive the discounted prices. As the economy has changed we will have a slight increase of our price but we do offer discounted rates for siblings that can be taught in a group setting. Always remember we teach in individual sessions unless it is a relative/sibling being hauled by the same family and even this must be approved at booking to make sure their is enough time allotted. THERE WILL ONLY BE 10 SUBSCRIPTION SPOTS SOLD. Please note that those spots will get the first chance at booking for the week.

9:00am-10:00am

5:00pm-6:00pm
6:00pm-7:00pm
7:00pm-8:00pm

I have had a few of messages about last minute prep for the patriot!! I can not be several places at once so I am going to open my home arena up for a clinic. We will have stalls and parking available upon request. This clinic is open to anyone that is wanting to learn. I have tons of refrences that I am also willing to send upon request. My name is Raelee Melancon!!! I will be the fingers behind the keys the majority of the time. I grew up in Paris, Tx but now reside in Sour Lake, Tx. I have trained, competed, and coached all things barrel racing and pole bending for many years. In 2021 I took a break from teaching and competing to further my career. As all things that are meant to be I am back just how God intended. His timing is always perfect!!! First and foremost about myself, I am a mother and wife before anything else. My daughter lace is 4 and has known nothing but the rodeo industry since she was born. My husband Cole(who will make his own introduction later) is my right hand and driving force!! From accolades to references I can supply it all. I am a past multiple time THSRA state champion, multiple time NHSRA & NJHSRA champion, and a multiple time/multiple event Josey Reunion Champion. When it comes to barrel racing and pole bending I stand firm in my foundation and will perfect and individualize the curriculum to the rider and horse. My program has been proven and grows as a team spirit!! We are one!! Win or lose we grow as a team!!
