-KittyMamas Rescue & Sanctuary is a non profit organization that is dedicated to reducing the overpopulation, homelessness, and neglect of cats/kittens. We are run by very compassionate, like-minded individuals , whom volunteer their time and combine their resources, to save these animals and care for them until they are placed into loving homes. We rescue the lost, abandoned , and sick while prov

iding shelter, food, and vet care to all felines in need. We also help to educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering to do our part in reducing the overpopulation and homelessness in our area/

We are not government funded , we solely depend on donations from our community, private citizens and local businesses that share our vision. We value your continued trust and support as we make huge strides in our local community's cat population. We promise to go above and beyond to help all our feline friends!

Lancaster Lucky- This kitten was found at a gas station in the wheel of someone’s car as they walked out of the store. Naturally scared to death he darts off… luckily a kind women couldn’t just walk away knowing a lonely scared kitten was out there. About to be late for work she starts searching, she gathers a produce box and food from the store to encourage him to approach. Luckily for us he was starving, luckily for him she had food!! Fast forward- she got him into safety… he was alone no kittens or adult cats in sight. We don’t know, was he dropped there by someone or did he hitch a dangerous ride in the car he was originally spotted in? Did he wonder off and get lost, maybe but what we know is he wasn’t safe. He was surrounded by high speed highways. He seemed well cared for and healthy where he came from. Thankfully the good souls put here help make up for the heartless ones.
He was taken to the finders home and they called looking for help. Her family suggested KMSR as they often visit our Petco kitties in Quakertown’ They named her GIGi with the assumption she was a female! Gigi is 💯 % a boy!! Welcome to KMSR little guy! Where you will stay inside, safe and away from highways!
Should we call him Lucky? Asher or Grayson

Mama____ (name TBD)- plus her 2 daughters are ( Triple threat) 🤗 one of the few pre-planned intakes we had come in so far this week!! Nonetheless our Sweet girls were brought into safety and incredibly lucky to have ended up on someones radar such as, Alexis Komilo & Jay Komilo… Thank you for all your dedication and doing whatever is needed for the felines you save & all the things that need to be done thereafter!! It’s a lot of work!! We appreciate it SO MUCH as it truly does help the rescue/foster taking them and the wellness of the cat! Lots of folks don’t do anything extra!!! So you’re-awesome!

⚕︎Mama is going to be grtting a f***l test done and some bloodwork! Shes so so SKINNY!! She is certainly taking care of her girl’s, they very healthy and got some good healthy chunk on them! However, at what expense? One that we see far too often, as without question the health of their mama is affected and ber malnurished body is tired! Mama is emancipated and suffered from a flea infestation. (which was rid of) We know some possible anemia could’ve been present at some point but Some professional insight will be helpful and inform us of what is or isn’t going on with her internally!! Mama will be getting her Spay day-“Spa Day” in her very near future! No more babies EVER, will be the most beneficial attention we can give her!🙏
🐾She’s as sweet as can be, poor girl must’ve been a family pet at some point.😥
Meet (The Sweetheart Litter)

We have been hit back to back with a variety of different medical issues, Emergency conditions and broken bones😥 all while still conducting our day to day rescue operations and Spay/Neuter appointments .
Times are hard and things are getting tight….
⭐️ ⛳️If you can help by donating even $1,$5 or whatever you choose it will make all the difference, it will without doubt help us to save another life and to stay in the green and keep intake open!
💸💡Could you imagine if everyone who saw this plea donated just $1! It could be life changing for so many!
Help us by sharing our post, events, fundraisers and adoptable purr babies! Help us bring awareness!
Thank you for all the love and support, you guys always come through and help us keep going! We appreciate you, the kitties do too!

Amen... This this is the sad truth.

We can’t save them all. When we can’t, we cry…everytime. Today I have cried twice already. Two lives lost today. RIP Marv and Chloe. 💔💔🌈🌈 Rescue is so hard. All we ask as rescuers is that you do your part to make it less hard for us.

Don’t be a keyboard warrior…be a helping hand. ❤️🐾

We need Foster’s because cats and kittens still need a hero… without a temp foster we wouldn’t have been able to help this litter of 5. We took them the day before I was going away for a week; however, I couldn’t just do nothing. A plea came in for help from the business owner on this property. They acted quickly and pulled them from multiple places, such as near the street, inside car engines, and our little Scooter was in a wheel/tire on the premises!! They are kittens; if there’s a will, there’s a way. They managed to mostly escape from the cage. Sadly, someone thought it was appropriate or smart to leave them crammed in a cage without notifying anybody or giving them any food, water, or regard for their little lives. NOTHING was left but them in a small crated dog cage to essentially die, get hit by a car, or literally get heat exhaustion. We get a few emergency situations that require surgery, and specialists can really put a strain on our medical funds and ability to help without putting a hold on our intakes.
🐾 Scooter needs our help! ! (Side Note:Set aside Matty “Matty Matters” is set up on 8/19 for abpossible surgery and a second opinion!)🙏🤞🏻

Lil Scooter is this cutie in the photos, he is indeed a special needs kitten who was one of the 5 in this litter left to die… someone clearly had them as they were sociable, and this kitten’s legs have been this way for some time. PEOPLE, THEY ARE LIVING ANIMALS… DO freaking better. They are helpless, and if you are someone who does stuff like this, shame on you. You are the problem in this damn world. Between Matty matters and this, I’m sick. Poor sweet babies deserve a chance at life. The quality of life is there; they play, they get around, they love, they eat well. They LIVE. Why would we choose euthanizing them over protecting them and seeing they get a good quality of life? Tell me, why is everyone’s first response and reaction to this, euthanize them? I hear, the poor thing, how could you ever expect it to live this way? The answer is simple: they are living with happiness now and will after we intervene and give them the opportunity and support they need, and WHATEVER that may look like. If the QOL fades, well, then we regroup with their medical team and go from there. 🐾

How do we have five beautiful playful and loving kittens still up for adoption at our Petco location???

🧇 Waffles( Left) & JJ- (Top Buff) are brothers who are about to be 6 months old who is accompanied by their possible father 🤖 Megatron(Bottom Right)… We took all 3 boys together from as an owner surrender. This family had 4 cats and could only take the mama with them and she was desperately searching for somewhere safe and a No-Kill above all else. KittyMamas came to her as highly recommend, sadly this isn’t a unique situation and something we experience often. This poor lady was crying hysterically begging us for help. Sometimes we get this side to people and other times we can be greeted with no care in the world and no fear to what happens to their poor family pet.
😥Honestly, the families who are purely heartbroken and who clearly, truly care touch my heart very differently than those with a heart of stone. I sympathize with them and really try to help lighten the weight of the workd in anyway we can, even if they dont end up in our care. Fortunately, we were able to help this time and now they are safe with us. They will be vetted this week & possibly going to our local cat cafe! 🤞🏻

The papa (Megatron) was the only one along with mama to be fixed so the boys are not neutered yet but will be on Thursday-they are a bit scared right now as would anyone and as to be expected. Hopefully they start opening up for us in no time. In a normal world, they are all 3 very cuddly, loving and playful “typical orange kitties” vibe. The brothers seem to be very bonded and co-dependent upon one another at this time.
Welcome orange boys of Reading!
