As we are preparing for Hurricane Milton, we would like you to take extra precautions with lithium-ion battery-powered vehicles and devices such as cars, golf carts, e-bikes, scooters, etc. Please make sure these items are unplugged and stored in vented areas away from moisture and flammable items. Moisture damage to these batteries poses a considerable fire threat before, during, and after a storm. Read more in the advisory from the Florida CFO and Fire Marshal, Jimmy Patronis.
