We are incredibly excited to welcome Dr. Sean Aiken back to the San Diego community and back home to VSH!

Dr. Aiken was a valued part of the VSH family for 17 years before relocating to Boston with his family, and we feel extremely lucky to have him returning to continue caring for pets and the families who love them.

Dr. Aiken’s areas of special interest include arthroscopy, joint replacement, joint resurfacing, minimally invasive fracture repair, total hip replacements, and knee reconstruction surgeries. His passion for advanced orthopedic care, combined with his compassion and dedication to patients, has made a lasting impact on countless pets, families, and colleagues throughout his career.

Blood donations play a critical role in emergency and specialty care, and for pets, donated blood often means the difference between life and death.

This event brings human and pet blood donation together to help raise awareness, educate our community, and expand the pool of lifesaving donors for both people and animals.
