We're just 1.5 short days away from the loudest holiday in America.... and our pets have no idea... but fortunately for them, we do! And we can be prepared!!!
If your pet gets anxious with loud noises, and routine at home methods wont work, call your primary vet ASAP to get them sedative medication.

If you are looking to donate used or new towels, our patients would love them! Our hospital is running low on our supply and could use more. Each hospitalized patient roughly goes through 6 towels (and blankets/beds) or more a day to help keep their cages/runs clean and comfortable at all times. Please feel free to drop off your donations to our Reception desk any day of the week.
We're currently in need of towels only, luckily our large blanket and bed selection is good at the moment. Thank you in advance to our community!!

With foxtail season among us, we must be careful with our pets. Foxtails are very determined little buggers that can cause very serious complications to our pets when not removed immediately. Areas to check for foxtails frequently are around the face (ears, eyes, nose), their feet (checking between all the toes under and on top), around their private areas, and overall brushing their fur out when you know they're exposed to foxtails. Foxtails can embed into any area of the skin (the fur helps them stick to gain access to the skin). From there, a foxtail can continue to travel and can even travel internally. Foxtails can become a life threatening issue if this happens. Pictured here is Revy, she was seen for sneezing. Revy was sedated and had a foxtail removed from her nose. She recovered quickly and was very happy to no longer have this uncomfortable spikey pest in her nose. Yay Revy! 🐾🤧🐶
