🐾 How is Misha STILL looking for her forever family?! 🐾

This girl is an absolute gem. 💛

Misha is estimated to be about 1 year old (we originally thought she was younger) and is a perfect 25 pounds full grown. She’s sweet as can be, incredibly affectionate, and absolutely loves kids and other dogs. She’s super playful with her dog friends and would make an amazing companion for another pup.

And yes—Misha is deaf. But honestly? It just makes her even cooler. She is incredibly tuned into her people, eager to please, smart, and so easy to train. She’s already learning hand signals and loves figuring out what you’re asking of her. ❤️

She’s house trained, great on leash, great in the car, and remarkably well behaved at home. Her foster leaves her uncrated in the house for a few hours while running errands, and Misha has never touched a thing. 🙌

She loves to play, but she’s equally happy snuggling up with her person. She’s affectionate, funny, smart, and just an all-around wonderful little dog.

We truly cannot believe this girl is still waiting. Someone is going to be SO lucky to call Misha theirs.

At 7am on July 13, security cameras caught someone choking this little French bulldog and throwing her over the fence of a grooming salon in Castro Valley.

Abandoned. Like garbage.

Shiloh is a 3-year-old Basset Hound with the sweetest soul. He came to Family Dog Rescue after receiving medical care for severe injuries from being attacked by a pack of dogs. His wounds were serious, but with time, care, and lots of love, Shiloh has healed beautifully and is back to being his sweet, silly self. Now, he’s ready for his fresh start.

Shiloh loves belly rubs, gets along with everyone he meets, and has the kindest, most lovable personality. He’s neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and more than ready to find a family of his own.

Happy at home update: Georgie has been adopted! 🤍 Our very special Georgie is now living his best life with his amazing mom in LA and two wonderful dog siblings. Our little social media star is thriving, loved, and so happy—exactly what we dreamed for him. We are so grateful to his incredible adopter for opening her heart and home to Georgie and giving him this beautiful life.

Thank you for the incredible outpouring of love and support for Georgie. It means more than we can say. 🐾 Meet Grizzy — the last of Lois’ puppies still waiting for his forever family! 🐾

Grizzy is thriving in a loving foster home, where he’s getting a wonderful start on potty training and socialization. His foster family says he is the sweetest puppy with the calmest demeanor. He loves cuddles but is also playful, curious, and always ready to explore.

Grizzy’s mom, Lois, is a 15-pound silky terrier mix. We don’t know who dad is, but we estimate Grizzy will be around 25–35 pounds full grown.

🐾 Daphne’s Puppies Are Ready for Their Forever Families! 🐾

The countdown is on! 💕 Daphne’s four adorable puppies will be ready to go home on August 14, and we are now accepting adoption applications.

These sweet pups have been surrounded by people, other dogs, and lots of love from the very beginning. They’re playful, curious, affectionate, and each has a personality all their own:

🤍 Bojack – the confident, independent big brother with a heart of gold.
🤍 Templeton – the playful cuddle bug who lives for snuggles and melts in your arms.
🤍 Lady – the athletic, affectionate sweetheart who loves everyone (especially other dogs!).
🤍 Ruby – the tiniest of the bunch with the biggest heart, happiest curled up for cuddles after a day of adventures.

Their mama, Daphne, is a beautiful Dalmatian mix. Dad is unknown, but based on their size and build, we expect these puppies to grow to approximately 45–55 pounds.
