This is my training assistant, Kety Ferretti with her dog Liu after their first AKC hunt test this morning. Kety and her dog are from Italy so she waded through a bunch of red tape just to be able to participate in the test. Well, it was all worth it after their near perfect run. Congratulations!

Hardly a day goes by when someone doesn't ask me what training books I recommend. I have a few on my list but there is a new sheriff in town. George DeCosta has written a must read book. It is the very BEST I've read. It's clear and concise. It's humorous but in spots, you may even shed a tear. Get it while it's on sale. I promise you'll learn a thing or two.

This is the last litter from Diggs and C.K. The first two batches were exceptional. Just had the last dog from last year's litter NAVHDA test. Dave Stewart with Hun Hill Magnum earned a 110 prize one Sunday. That makes 6 of of 9 pups tested. 5 prize 1s (3-112's, 2-110's) and a 98 prize III. Pretty awesome pups. I'd like to thank all of our owners for taking the time to test your dogs. It sure makes us proud. Let's hope that this 3rd and final litter enjoys this type of success.

Yesterday I showed you a couple green dogs. Today's video features a couple of more advanced dogs. They were a little sloppy but we'll clean that up. Sorry for the poor camera work but too much to do with handling 2 dogs.
