Sweet Pea and her pups Sweet Pea has her 7 pups on 10/17/22 Sweet Pea was rescued from a rural area in North Dakota by Coco's Heart Dog Rescue on Sunday, Oct. 16.

I am her foster, Dana. We arrived home at 330 in the morning. Sweet Pea went into Labor on Monday, Oct. 17, and had her first puppy at 6:20 pm. Follow the journey of Sweet Pea and her pups from birth til adoption.

Hi everyone! Sweet Pea had her cardiology appointment today. She was diagnosed with Ventricular Bigeminy which means she has an extra little heartbeat in her ventricles after each normal heartbeat. This is not thought to be a hereditary condition and the vet stated the pups do not need to get checked for anything. This is not a heart disease and is not affecting her quality of life. Her blood pressure is normal. She is a very happy and energetic girl who is loving life and can now be posted for adoption! I hope all is well with the lil pups, that are probably not so little anymore! I hope they were all able to enjoy some nice weather.

To anyone who adopted one of Sweet Pea's pups- Her cardiology appointment had to be rescheduled as we were unable to find transportation for her. She is rescheduled for Feb. 20th. I will update everyone then. In the meantime, she is doing very well and has tons of energy. I hope all the puppies are doing well! Feel free to comment with photos and updates!!

You know the meds are good when you walk to the counter where they are and the pups come a runnin'! Though I think it's more about what I put the meds in 😄 Charlie certainly likes it!! Guest appearance by new foster Rosalind.

The pups' ringworm is nearly gone! Look for them to be posted for adoption this weekend! Unfortunately, Sweet Pea has a heart arrhythmia and needs to see a cardiologist for full diagnostic before posting. In the meantime, she will be in Mighty Mutts.
