Important Update from Cleveland Aquatic Gems

We’re turning the page and moving Cleveland Aquatic Gems into its next chapter.

Due to a major shift in our business model, we will be transitioning away from a traditional walk-in retail storefront and transition to Online based, appointments, and service-focused operation. We will still offer Corals Dry Goods and Fish! Free sameday delivery on orders of $250 with in 15 miles of Solon Ohio! Otherwise shipping will be a flat rate of $35 in ohio and $60 the the continental US!

📍 Our Enterprise Parkway location will remain open until January 21st 2026, unless further updates are provided.

Going forward, Cleveland Aquatic Gems will focus on:
• Online Sales via our New Shopify website being built.
• Facebook Live Sales Starting Feb 2026.
• Private appointments for fish, corals, and dry goods
• Professional aquarium services & installations
• Saltwater systems only for the foreseeable future
• Weekly stock lists posted to Socials
• Special orders and quarantine still available with deposit!

This transition allows us to reduce overhead and, in turn, offer better pricing, the best livestock, and more personalized service to our customers. While the storefront model is changing, our commitment to quality, transparency, and the reefing community remains exactly the same.

💙 A Personal Message From Greg

I want to take a moment to share something very personal. On December 1st, my mother passed away. Many of you know how close we were — she was my best friend, my greatest supporter, and the person who always stood by my side through every season of life and through the journey of Cleveland Aquatic Gems.

I want to sincerely apologize for the long silence and my absence at the shop over the past days. I also apologize for not posting earlier about her passing. This has been an incredibly difficult time, and I have been doing my best to navigate this loss while still managing day-to-day responsibilities.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages, prayers, and support. Your kindness has meant more than I can ever express.

As I work through this grieving process, Cleveland Aquatic Gems will remain open, and I will continue assisting customers as best as I can. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding if responses are delayed or if I need a little extra time.

My mother loved our family deeply, especially her granddaughters, and I take comfort knowing she is now at peace. We may have lost her, but we gained a beautiful guardian angel watching over us.

Thank you for your compassion and your continued support during this difficult time.

Dear Cleveland Aquatic Gems Community,

I wanted to share something very difficult and personal. My mother has suffered a severe stroke and is expected to pass soon. I will be away from the shop for the next few days as I spend this time with my family. My Mom was truly my best friend, and this is an extremely difficult time for me.

The store will remain open during normal business hours, and my team will be there to assist you. I sincerely apologize for not finishing the recent live sales and for any delays this has caused. For anyone who made a purchase during the live event, you will still have everything ready for pickup by Friday.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during this incredibly hard time.
