Recently, we at Big Rock said goodbye to a beautiful soul. For all of you that knew him, Slim moved on to the other side a few weeks ago. He was, undoubtedly, one of the most incredible horses we ever had the pleasure of calling a teammate. Loyal, brave, sweet... He challenged us in his youth and took care of us in his old age.

Ballerina Bob, Slim Shady, Slimbo Bimbo, and just plain Slim -- you are loved... you are missed. Thank you, a million times, for giving us your everything. The farm is not the same without you.

Two generations, two big red horses. Last week was voted Treasurer of her equestrian team and had her first horse show over fences. Ella is carrying on the legacy, and we could NOT be prouder!

After two years out of touch, I found Safi today. Now named Sybil, she lives in North Dakota. She is described as "loving" to jump (I'm as shocked as you all are), and is schooling 2nd level dressage.

My year has been made.
