Let them be kids. Let them ride horses and come home with dusty boots and hay in their hair. Let scraped knees and grass stains be part of the story, because the clock will one day trade playgrounds for paychecks and carefree afternoons for calendars. Childhood is a short, golden season, and it deserves room to run wild before responsibility comes calling.
