We are so thankful to our numerous donors, volunteers, coordinators, transporters, accepting rescues, followers amd volunteers at the Sanctuary that all helped ensure not one dog fell through the cracks since February 2025 when we began to help the shelter. Animal control went from a 30% release rate to now over 90% being saved!

This milestone represents the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our amazing staff, volunteers, fosters, rescue partners, and supportive community. Every person who has helped make this possible is part of this success.

Trespassing Cops Shoot and Kill Baby Donkey Named HeeHaw, Farm Says

A Georgia farm owner is gutted after she says cops came onto her property and fatally shot her baby donkey, HeeHaw.

We cant even get out to get a new video but this road is now a river.

Thankfully we have enough supplies. We've been attempting to keep enough emergency supplies for these days. We received 3 inches of rain, major flooding, (thanks to WW Clyde past donations of berms we have been able to keep some water from compounds.) , our road will be closed today for sure.

Meet Cookie one of our residents. Cookie was in custody of animal control and deemed unadoptable.
Cookie is safe for life at the Sanctuary.

Keep Marbels in your thoughts and prayers for an easy rainbow crossing.

Marbels is one of oldest goats and has been with us over 5 years. We lost his twin brother two years ago. Marbels is one of the favorites at the Sanctuary because he sticks his long tongue out at you.

We received over 20 requests this week for help. Unfortunately, we had to turn every one of them.

We are in need of sponsors. Sponsorships help us rescue dogs at risk.

Archie and Abe in their new area. We have a lot more to do here, but this is their new area. They'll have 2 trees. Unfortunately Archie is already a climber so she won't get a tree platform next year. Tomorrow we'll work more on their setup including adding a pool.
