I would like to announce a five month old Golden Retriever will be up for adoption - after thirty years of dedication to breeding 13 litters and matching dogs to forever homes, this is the first ever to be rehomed.
She is five moths old, the current owner describes her as perfect and sweet as sugar. The current owner had a previous Golden from my first generation and once she passed at 12 years of age, her home was empty without a Golden. Following retirement, she decided to go back to work part-time during the day and work part/time in the evenings helping her daughter to build a business.
This left her with little time to care for the demanding attention and needs of a puppy. She placed her in doggie daycare twice a week but the energy level was more than she anticipated. She was doing her best to ensure the pup was socialized and being trained while she was working.
Despite her best efforts and with a broken heart, she is returning “Abbey” to me. If you are interested in adopting, please feel free to inquire and ask questions. She is AKC registered with limited registration, 5 months old, loves to ride, good with other dogs. She needs someone a home - preferably with a fenced in yard and time to spoil yer rotten.
