Sometimes, the photo is so darn cute I have a tough time calling the portrait as "finished". This is why I absolutely love what I do...spending all day studying this adorable face! This young man is traveling all the way to Scotland! Here is Gimli's story:
"He was adopted in 2018 (at one or two years old). He lived in LA through masters and PhD degrees-and relocated with my niece and her partner to Scotland last year! He loves all of the walking and nearby parks-Scotland is very dog friendly. He has been trained as a service dog and is everything to his family."

Sometimes the stories come after the fact, but Meela's story is no less important and clearly needs to be shared, so I am re-posting. How lucky this family found each other ❤...this is her story: "Meela came to us in May of 2014 as a rescue. She was found chained up in Nevada, left in the elements without food. When we got her at a year and half old she was 27 pounds. She quickly became part of the family and sister to our lab Fritzi and kitty Bismarck. She loved the dog park, swimming at the family
beach cabin, and was my walking buddy. She was very loyal to her people, fierce protector of her
domain-the Rottie in her, and a bed hog who loved to snuggle. Sadly, she passed away in September from bone cancer. She is missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts."

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, several of our clients have had health issues, life issues, and other major things going on in the universe. We are closed tomorrow and I’m sorry &to those that were scheduled for tomorrow, I wish you well and I am sorry you’re going through this… furthermore, it will be almost 90° and the stress for dogs and us alone is gargantuan. It is a blessing and a curse. I’m sorry for anyone’s miss fortune, the universe, or whatever anyone refers it to has gone in the favor of our dogs in many ways! With the heat and stress having to come to room shop in general-that is the blessing and its self
