It has been an incredibly hard week around here. We had to say goodbye to our sweet Anakin on Thursday evening. He suffered from urinary stones, as many male goats do. Despite our best efforts to prevent them and then to unblock him in the end there was nothing we could do but send him on his way surrounded by love. Ani was a male goat, born in a dairy. There is “no use” for boys in a dairy and they are typically destroyed within moments of birth. Ani wasn’t supposed to live 10 minutes let alone 10 years. He was sweet and kind and can’t tell you how much we are going to miss him. Thanks for choosing us sweet boy.
