Welcome back to school! 🏫 🚸

Our kids started classes this week, and as we were leaving co-op, we came across the sweetest golden retriever puppy hanging out in a playpen behind its owner’s car.

I watched my oldest son walk up, politely ask if he could pet the puppy, and then gently guide its paws back down when it jumped on the side of the playpen. Without thinking twice, he encouraged the puppy into a sit and began calmly petting it.

In that moment, I thought—he doesn’t even realize it, but he’s training. Every interaction we have with dogs teaches them something.

✨ Our lifestyle is training. ✨
Everything we do with our dogs—good or bad—is shaping who they become.
