Board and train is an opportunity to sharpen rusty obedience skills. Sydney, the standard poodle, is back to visit and is working on leash manners, respecting thresholds and boundaries.

E Collar Seminar part 2: proofing place and leash respect
These dogs had so much fun! They have done so much training and are now using the e collar to proof and eliminate failure. These dogs were succeeding over 95% of the time.
Our goal with proofing is not to set our dogs up to fail and thus need to be corrected.
Our goal with proofing is to teach them how to be successful so they are less likely to fail. E collars are a great tool to have for those rare occasions when a dog does choose to fail.

🐕 Comfort with medium and large breed dogs, particularly those in the herding and working classifications, is crucial. Our focus spans breeds like Malinois, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, and other spirited, high-energy, and driven dogs. 🐾
🐶 While prior dog training experience is advantageous, we're committed to teaching you our specific training methods.
💪This role is physically demanding, requiring applicants to be at ease on their feet for the majority of the day and capable of lifting 40-50 lbs. Ideally, we're looking for someone available for 30 hours a week, with the potential for further growth.

Puppy Bitework! Hagrid is waking up! ⏰️ Hagrid, the Cane Corso, has attended Puppy classes and Basic Obedience Classes. He recently started attending protection training. 📚 Hagrid was so used to Obedience mode at classes that he struggled to have the freedom to play in protection classes. He thought it was Obedience time. 🏖 After spending a week with us, he realized that he can play here also! Watching Hagrid "flip on" was so fun and rewarding. It's crucial when you have personal protection or sport goals with your dog that you pursue the protection training, aka bitework parallel with the obedience training.
