Puppy play time!
French Creek Pet Resort is offering supervised Puppy Play Time. Tuesdays at 6pm starting immediately. 30 minute session for $10. We will have play dates throughout July, August and September.
Early socialization with other dogs, sights, sounds and smells is important and we want to give you an opportunity to get your puppy to meet other dogs their own age.
Puppies must be 3 months to 6 months old and must have proof of the vaccinations appropriate for their age. You will need to bring proof of vaccinations with you.
This will be in a fully enclosed field outdoors. Limited to 8 puppies in this group.

There is still some room in the Farm Dog Certified Test on April 25th. Pre-Entries close Wednesday. We are taking day-of entries if there is room. Pre-entries are $25. Day-of entries are $30 per dog.

Farm Dog Prep Workshop, French Creek Pet Resort, Snohomish, WA. $15 per dog
In preparation for the Farm Dog Certified Tests on April 25th and May 2nd, French Creek Pet Resort is going to hold two Farm Dog prep workshops on April 13th and April 20th at 6pm. This workshop will take you through the elements that will be covered in a Farm Dog Certified Test and help you get your dog ready to take the test. We will also see how your dog behaves around livestock.

We will cover the 12 elements of the Farm Dog Test:

Greet the judge politely
Walk around the farm equipment and a passive stranger
Jump on a straw bale
Walk past farm animals
Walk over unusual surfaces
Supervised separation
Pass through a gate
Wait while the handler feeds livestock
Reaction to another dog
Reaction to noise distraction
Dog approaches livestock (safely behind a fence)
Dog allows handler to remove any farm debris in the coat, feet, ears etc.

Ongoing Barn Hunt classes at French Creek Pet Resort.
Offered Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Mondays at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm
Tuesdays at 6pm

$25 per lesson. Pay via paypal in advance or cash on-site.

This is a “buffet style” class. Take one or more as you wish. You can sign up as early as 45 days before the class.

There will be four dogs maximum per time slot, guaranteeing that each dog gets around 15 minutes of time. All levels from absolute beginners to Masters. We will work at you and your dog’s skill level. No prior experience necessary.

We observe all COVID requirements. Masks, physical distance and hand sanitation.

Barn hunt classes are cancelled for Monday, February 15th. There is still ice and snow in many places. Road conditions are iffy. I'll see everyone next week!
