We offer In our home pet sitting and in your home drop in services. We specialize in small breed dogs, spay/neutered. Our full-time business provides very personalized care. We do not crate or kennel here at HODR and we do not lock the doors and leave the premises at night like many kennels do. We have 8 years of experience serving Smyrna and surrounding areas. . Hair of the Dog Resort🐾🐾. Cooper has our home to himself for a few days. He is never any trouble and the cutest boy!

Our objective at HODR is to ensure your pup has a relaxing, fun vacation, along with your own enjoyable experience. The pups engage in rigorous play and forge lasting friendships. Some pups don’t play at all and that is ok too👍🏻. Upon returning home, your pup may appear tired, and some clients report their pups seem subdued, missing their companions. I specialize in catering to small breed, neutered/spayed pups. Additionally, I offer drop in services in your home including letting your pup out and feeding, as well as caring for cats. I am qualified to administer injections and dispense necessary medications.

It is just our sweet Jack this evening. We went for a walk and of course, Ms. Opal Thang saw us leave out the gate. She does not miss a walk. She is an indoor/outdoor cat, spay and chipped. She leaves the trail when “strangers” appear. She hid and then beat us home. She is the Best cat and can catch her snacks like a beast!

Hair of the Dog Resort🇺🇸🐾. What a wonderful week and weekend! We were so busy and we thank YOU, our clients! We are down to 3 pups in our home. Sweet Cyrus goes home tomorrow. This was his first stay and he knocked it out of the park. He was so well behaved and such a sweet boy. Fern and Finley left one night and are back. They always keep us on our toes. Happy, sweet pups! Honey and her two friends are adjusting so well to my drop in services I am providing in their home.

Hello. I am Colleen, owner of Hair of the Dog Resort. This has been my full time profession for 8 years now. Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood, backed up to Lee Victory Park. Our home is a smoke free home. We have a sweet 14 year old Shihtzu, Jack who is our #1 buddy!

*We provide drop in services, in your home.
potty, feed & water. We can provide this service from 1 to 3 times a day at $22/per visit, in or near Smyrna.

*We come to your home to take care of your cat (cats), feed, water change litter box. $22/per visit. This applies to birds, rabbits, fish, guinea pig, etc.
In Smyrna or near Smyrna.

*We provide overnight, and extended overnight stays in our home. One pup is $42/night. 2 pups $55/night. 3 pups $60/night

*We specialize in small breed, spay and neutered pups that must be updated on all vaccinations, including the Kennel Cough vaccine.

*We can administer medications, eye drops, insulin injections, etc.

*We send daily texts to keep you in informed as to how your pup is enjoying their vacation. We do NOT text any clients on Saturday or Sunday. This is our family time.

*We meet and greet, at no fee, outside our home before your pup stays. They do not meet other pups at the meet & greet.

*Your pup sleeps where they find a spot. They are offered all day play, indoor and outdoor with unlimited potty breaks. You bring their washed bedding/blanket, & food and their notes. If they crate, we will crate them for you. No pets sleep in our bed.

*We start accepting drop offs at 7:00 a.m. and the last evening pick up is 8:00 p.m.

* We do NOT provide pet day care or walk dogs.

Jimmy and I hope this information will assure you, your pup, pups, will be well taken care of also enjoying their own sleep overs with the new friends they make here.

Can anyone confirm if they have benefited from Wag Water provided outside our gate at Lee Victory Park? We hope so!! We know it can get hot during the summer months. Drop a comment if so, please. Thanks 😊 *edit* someone mentioned the metal bowl was hot, so there is a glass bowl now👍🏻
