𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
· 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
· 1/2 cup grated carrots
· 1 cup brown rice, cooked
· 1 egg

𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝:
· Baking sheet
· Parchment paper

𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, grated carrots, cooked brown rice, and egg.
Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bites are cooked through.
Cool before serving.

Yield:
Approximately 25 bites

𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝:
Fabric scraps or old socks
Needle and thread or sewing machine
Scissors
Catnip
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
Prepare Your Materials: Gather your fabric scraps or old socks. Ensure they are clean and free of any debris.
Cut the Fabric: Cut the fabric into desired shapes for your catnip toy. Popular shapes include squares, rectangles, or even fish shapes.
Sew the Fabric: If you're using fabric scraps, place two pieces together with the inside facing out. If you're using socks, cut them into appropriate sizes. Then, sew around the edges, leaving a small opening.
Fill with Catnip: Once you have sewn around the edges, turn the fabric right side out through the opening. Fill the toy with dried catnip. You can find catnip at most pet stores or online.
Close the Opening: After filling the toy with catnip, sew the opening closed securely. Ensure that the stitches are tight enough so that the catnip doesn't spill out.
Optional: Add Embellishments: If you want to add some extra flair to your catnip toy, you can sew on additional decorations like buttons or felt shapes. Just make sure they are securely attached and won't pose a choking hazard to your cat.
Let Your Cat Enjoy: Once the toy is complete and the seams are secure, give it to your cat to enjoy! Watch as they play with their new catnip-filled toy.
Monitor the Toy: While cats love catnip, it's essential to monitor their playtime with the toy to ensure they don't ingest too much catnip or damage the toy excessively. If the toy becomes worn or torn, replace it with a new one to prevent any accidents.
