The Rule Breaker Litter is officially 8 weeks and 2 days old! They have been to vet and we're all given a clean bill of health and their first shots. They have been dewormed and will be microchipped upon leaving. Pet homes will be sold with AKC Limited registration. Full AKC rights available.

Four Arrows Kennel was birthed from a dream I had for a long time. The original dream was to breed labs, but we fell in love with poodles and our poodle and Doodle program was born. Through out these 2 years, I have learned so much about breeding, genetics, colors traits, genetic testing, anatomy, puppy development and so much more. I am so proud of my accomplishments and how much I have grown intellectually and as a person through breeding. I have gained a new respect for show breeders, preservation breeders, progressive breeders, cross breeders. The amount of thoughtful research and planning and agonizing over lines and genetics and pairings is amazing to watch and I am forever grateful that some amazing breeders, let me be a part of their world, even if only for a season.

You have probably guessed where this conversation is going. It is with a heavy heart that I am drastically reducing my program and by the end of 2025, Four Arrows Kennel will be dissolved completely. I will have 2 Standard Bernese Mountain Dog litters in late 2024/ Early 2025 and then I will exit the breeding world.

I wouldn't be anywhere without the opportunity to own some amazing dogs. Experienced breeders looked at me and my program and gave me a shot by allowing me to raise, own, and love their dogs. I want to give that same opportunity to breeders and help them expand their programs by offering some of my fully health tested dogs to new programs. This doesn't mean that I don't value my dogs. This means that I love them so much. I know their worth, and I know the great puppies that they produce and the world needs their puppies. This chapter was short, but I have loved every second of it and will forever appreciate the support, love, and friendship that each of you have given me.

Vet appointment day! The Rule Breakers checked another milestone off the list! They got their first shots and everyone got a clean bill of health!

Jaywalker wasnt impressed with the car ride and refused to come out of the crate when we got home, so he got some extra snuggles. Little does he know, he will be going on more rides to help him get over his fears and make him more comfortable on trips.....but for now we will just soak up all the lovings!

In between not feeling well today and taking care of a sick kiddo, we made it outside on the deck for some fresh air. I think it did us all some good!

This puppy had stolen our hearts, so I might as well talk about her next! Miss Litterbug is the kindest puppy. She was the first one to pick up on "manding", sitting before getting any attention. She loves to play with toys, especially they squeekers! She also loves to snuggle up into the nape of your neck for long naps. She is a black based Merle, with some super unique markings.

Today's puppy focus is Piracy. He is a black based Phantom. He is the most chill of the bunch. He enjoys snuggling. His brothers and sisters will gear up for a wrestle, but once Piracy has them pinned it's all about the love! Anytime the kids and I curl up in the box, Piracy finds the spot where he can be as close as possible and just lays. He is going to be around 40-50lbs, but don't let his size fool you, he is going to be someone's best lap dog!
