We were told the conventional spaying/neutering was the best choice.
But research says otherwise…

Multiple research studies have confirmed that removing the go**ds leads to a sharp rise of the luteinizing hormone causing:

➡️ Chronic inflammation
➡️ Thyroid issues
➡️ Aggression and fearfulness
➡️ Ligament damage
➡️ Increased cancer risk

Your Dog Has Many Microbiomes

Your dog's entire body contains pockets of bacteria cultures contained in microbiome bubbles designed to help keep the organ healthy via bacteria cultures.

These bacteria cultures have to appear in particular ratios to each other in order for the microbiome bubble to be healthy and functional. Too much or too little of certain bacteria and the microbiome bubble collapses onto itself and the good bacteria suddenly become not-so-good bacteria. These complex bacteria cultures need to be fed to continue to flourish. Feed the wrong diet and you starve some cultures and flood the system with other bacteria cultures.

I cannot say this enough times ....

How and what you feed your dog will influence these microbiome cultures in your dog's body. Your dog requires a wide scope of rotated whole food nutrition to correctly feed the bacteria cultures. If you feed a narrow scope of poor quality processed food every day, eventually your dog's balanced microbiome cultures become unbalanced and then collapse.
This is ground zero for health problems to be created in your dog.

You can prevent this from happening by understanding how and why the food that you feed to your dog helps to shape his long term health.
Don't let big business pet food ads influence your food choices.
Don't let scientists paid to be shills for big business pet food companies try to pass off the lie that "complete nutrition" by feeding stand alone high heat processed food diets is healthier for your dog. It's not healthier and it's made obvious by the growing numbers of our chronically sick and dying dogs.

Their science of nutrition and health just don't add up.

Anyone interested in a young kitten?

My neighbor found a sweet baby, guessing about 5 weeks old, also guessing female as its a steel gray calico/tortoise shell. She is VERY sweet and loving, and appears to be in remarkably good health. We have treated her for fleas and are worming her. She's eating well and everything looks very healthy and normal.

My neighbor's hubby says absolutely no to keeping her so I'm helping to find her a loving home. She's such a sweet doll baby!! Text me if you're interested!!

NOTICE:
Effective immediately -

If you do not confirm your appt (respond "C" to the reminder message), I will assume that you do not plan to keep that appt and I will offer it to other clients. If you do not contact me to cancel or change the appt within 48 hrs of the appt, you WILL be charged a No Show/No Call fee.

Reminders are sent every Sunday/Monday for that week's appts. If I don't receive a confirmation, I send it again.

My time is valuable. I lose income when clients don't show up for an appt and don't give me the opportunity to fill it with another client. I love my clients, but the courtesy of a response/confirmation is simply non-negotiable.

This is a common professional courtesy required by most businesses.

Thank you.

“Oh rubbish....our nails don’t hurt when they grow.”
I hear you, but let’s look at why trainers, groomers, vets (really anyone who works closely with dogs) will urge you to please trim your dog’s nails or “claws”.

It isn’t always nice to hear but it is an important message.

What happens when your dogs nails are too long?
The toes can start to splay, they can spread our unnaturally.
This affects how the foot can move and place itself.

Did your dog’s toes once sit neatly and tightly together?
Have you noticed they now sit wider apart?
Notice those bigger gaps?
The foot isn't as compact as it one was.

Over time.... the toes can twist and they may have a new way of moving or walking, one their body isn’t built for and it can be very subtle and tricky to spot.

That new movement affects joints and muscles all the way up the leg.
Eventually.... it can impact the hips.
The gait can be affected as well as their whole walking style.

Why does this happen?
Dog nails don’t retract.
They stay long (and for long nails concrete walking may not help at all...it just means more pain).
Long nails can’t sink into hard surfaces.
The toes bend... the joints strain and the foot compensates in unnatural ways.

Will they show pain?
Some dogs will..... many don’t or can’t.
That doesn't mean they’re not in a lot of discomfort.

Pain often shows in unexpected ways...unwanted behaviour, movement and posture.
Pain that is preventable becomes a welfare issue.

We owe it to our dogs to help them live (as much as possible) a pain free life.

Yes...nail care can be hard.
Yes, some dogs hate it and progress can be snail pace slow.

However....we owe it to our dogs to not give up on them or their nails.

Just adopted ?
They really need to know YOU before anything else.
They need time to slow down and realise they may be safe....but they aren't in that safety bubble yet.
We may think they are because we are providing them with what they need....but they have been through a LOT!
This is where decompression comes in.
It relaxes....it can help dogs to calm down.
It also clears a path to helping your new buddy realise they ARE safe.
