I’m really proud bluetick owner right now…

Our young Belle of the Ball female is really looking wonderful in the woods and on the bench.

And today we picked up Journey. Wow she is gorgeous!

And such a sweet dog. This girl is going to help me achieve some goals of being back at the top of the Bluetick confirmation ladder…

Had a wonderful time this evening with my great friend Clay and his daughter Catherine.

Young Belle of the Ball found herself hunting with an audience on a night when nothing was moving. So she ran multiple routes seeking to find a track… And eventually fell treed on a huge den.

Nothing moving tonight… This puppy went about 5 miles… Covered the better part of 350 to 400 acres. Never opened… Until ...

Tonight I had two big and exciting things happen…

I had my first chance to hunt our new eight month old Outcross’ Belle of the Ball pup.

She’s looking pretty great for her age and starting tomorrow I will be hunting her solo for the next few months.

Also, I got to meet three wonderful children and see their passion for hunting.

They were participating in a meat hunt with their parents, and we got to do all of that on our farm.

I served as their guide.

It was a blast.

8 month old Outcross’ Belle of the Ball is rolling! And tomorrow I get to hunt with her myself! Stay tuned!

Many of you know that I have not hunted in the last five years. I was raising the best puppy that I’ve ever owned and he was shot and killed by a neighbor at seven months old. It just completely took out my desire… But that’s coming back. A few months ago a new partner and I acquired this wonderful young lady… and she is showing great potential.
