That just breaks my heart - how can we encourage people to treat dogs with the dignity and compassion they deserve? why? why? why? would anyone get a dog and then chain it up outside to just ignore it....😢💔

So sad. Unfortunately this happens all the time.

"FORGIVE ME, MOMMY 😢🐾…
I was left where you left me for two whole days, sleeping right by the road. I was really scared of the loud cars, but I didn’t move.

Last night, one of those cars stopped, and a lady got out. She asked me to come to lunch, but I said no. She invited me to sleep at her house, and I said no again. I tried to tell her I was waiting for you, but she wouldn’t listen. Then she pulled out a leash and said I couldn’t stay there anymore. I bit her a few times and ended up p*eing on myself while I growled and cried! She didn’t understand that she was taking me away from you! She took me against my will, and we drove off! I was so sad because I knew you would be worried.

We ended up at her house. I kept barking, hoping you would hear me, but you never came. I felt so sick and even threw up because I was so nervous. I kept telling her I had to go back because you would think I abandoned you when you saw I wasn’t there! I love you with all my heart and soul, and I haven’t stopped crying since we got separated a few days ago. I want you to know I would never do that to you.

I don’t know where you are now or why you left me there. I’m sure you had something really important to do. Can you come find me now, Mommy?

Today, I ate because my tummy was hurting. I also slept on a really soft bed. I even wiggled my tail a little by accident. I’m so sorry; please forgive me. She’s being really nice to me. She said I could stay forever. She’s calling me Milo, but I already have a name. When you come to pick me up, you can tell her my real name. You’ll see how surprised she’ll be when you explain that this was a big mistake.Because mommy, you’re coming back for me, right 😢🐾?"

Pets are not something we can just get rid of when we don’t want them anymore. They are a lifelong commitment and part of our family! Thank you so much to everyone who adopts and rescues pets until their last loving breath. Because of you, the world is a better place!

I have a puppy that was surrendered to me today. He is a husky that is 9 months old. He is up to date on vaccines. He is good with dogs and people. I was told he was with kids. I am not sure. If you are interested reach out to me.

🚨⚠️ Foster or Adopter needed!!!!

Rusty was pulled from a local shelter a few weeks ago, unfortunately he now needs a new foster or adopter ASAP.

Rusty is a large, active dog (see weimaraner and lab mix....). If you can help this big guy please reach out to us! We've been told he's very sweet, and very energetic!

⚽️ 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 just turned 7 years young (yes he had his bday in foster care) He needs to live out his senior years as the only dog, and be the prince 👑 of your world. He would prefer a fenced in yard or a place with some land as he can get a little overstimulation on leash walks. He absolutely adores saying hi to all the kids in the neighborhood. He has been fostered with a 4 year old boy and is super calm and gentle with him, he has also lived with a baby & 2 year old and knows boundaries with babies.

He is looking for his retirement home. One that will keep him and love him in his senior years. One that will give him the life he deserves, full of love, cuddles, jammies and blankies. Chase LOVES a pile of warm blankets and a fireplace to snuggle, he loves making himself little caves under blankets and snoring the day away.

He is a smart boy and wants to please his people. He absolutely loves going for car rides, curls right up in the seat next to you and will be your bestie if he can go with you for a pup cup! He knows : Sit. Stay. Wait. Kennel. Shake. Down. Load up lol that one is his favorite 😍 cause he knows he is going somewhere fun

Chase is allergic to chicken, but loves lamb and salmon. He has some pittie skin allergies that can be easily managed with supplements (from Amazon) and a monthly flea meds, Nexgard. His house manners are perfectionist he never messes with anything. He is a gem in the kennel or can be left out to wonder.

☀️𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐨 - A true working breed at his core - this boy will need a very special person! He has made himself right at home with his foster family since the beginning and is learning new house manners every day.

Kilo is very friendly with people and wants to love other dogs, but would need a medium-large dog of similar vigor or an extremely tolerant fur sibling (if any) due to his tendency to get a little bit overstimulated around other pups (though honestly, he’d probably be best as an only child).

For the same reason, he’ll need someone very dedicated to exercise and continuing his training, as he can definitely get himself into trouble when not properly stimulated! Due to his over-exuberance, he will need a family without kitty friends or small dogs as he shows too much interest. His shelter history also eludes to no cats or small dogs.

Kilo loves to be involved in anything that you’re doing and pretty consistently needs a job or something to keep him occupied during his spare time, as he is still learning the art of relaxing in the house. While we are also working on his leash manners, excitement when seeing other pups, and overstimulation when he’s excited, he’s very smart and picks up on things extremely quickly. He knows “sit”, “down”, “settle”, “come”, “kennel”, and is working on other commands. He would love to learn as many things as you are able to teach him and would be a wonderful dog sport or demo dog candidate, as well as thrive in a structure based home.

🩷𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧 - is a 2 year old pittie mix! She takes a minute to trust people, but once she does, she is very snuggly 😍 She loves a good couch movie and popcorn.

Quinn knows lots of basic commands "sit", "Down", "kennel", "load up" and a few more. She even did a little agility and absolutely loved it. She is a gem in her kennel and doesn't make a p*ep. She loves going for walks. She is a high energy dog, who needs a family that will exercise her and continue with her training.

Quinn prefers male dogs and would really do well in a calmer house. She matches energy of the house. She has done some training and she really stuck with dogs that match her energy. She loves running in the yard and playing chase. She has been cat tested, she watches them but doesn't engage. She would do best in a home with no kiddos or kiddos over 10, as she can be too high energy for littles.

Quinn would benefit from more socializing to help her work through her fear of new things, we are working on this in her foster home. And she would benefit from more training once she is adopted. We have a trainer that has offered a scholarship to the forever family to help Quinn and the new family get off on the right foot and build that bond to forever.

🩷𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐫 - is such a sweet girl. She was recently surrendered back to us, after her owner suddenly passed away. She takes a bit to warm up to new people but once she does she loves to snuggle on the couch by the fire. This little one may look sassy, but she is so goofy. She loves running in the rain and splashing in the puddles. She absolutely adores her morning walks around the neighborhood. Skye knows a few basic commands "sit", "Down", "shake" , and "kennel" . She even did a little agility at her foster home and loved the jumps. She is a gem in her kennel and doesn't make a p*ep.

She takes a minute to warm up to other dogs as she is very unsure of them, so we take it slow and her pace. She would prefer a home with a smaller pack size, as she can get overwhelmed. She seems to prefer dogs her size or ones that will let her be and not in her face. She loves running zoomies and tumbling in the back yard with her foster fur brother that is her size. As a small dog she would do best with kids 8 and up!

🩷 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐞 - She is an absolute ANGEL 😇 She loves a good couch nap for cuddles. She sleeps in her kennel like a gem, but she would much rather sleep in bed and cuddle. She has amazing house manners, no chewing on things she isn't supposed to. She is not a huge fan of toys but she LOVES her treats!

Gets along with other dogs and cats. She prefers a calmer dog friend that she can just hang out with. She doesn't play with the other dogs in her foster home but she likes knowing they are there if she needs a backup buddy. Just wants to relax and live the easy life… She would do best in a home with kiddos over 10.

🚘 These sweet babies are Chihuahua Terrier Mix puppies. They are going to be on the small side, currently weighing around 5lbs at 9 weeks old. They are typical puppies. They are NOT Housebroken or crate trained. They do use the puppy p*e pads and do well with that. They do sleep in a kennel in their play yard overnight.

They love to play with each other and their foster siblings. They love food time, and will let you know when they need water or when it's time to eat! They love to play with toys, sliding across the hardwood floor, and chasing the big dogs in the house.
