At Cascades Futurity, we know that the future of cutting depends on leadership that isn't afraid to tackle the hard conversations. That is why we are standing firmly behind Rock Hedlund. We’ve seen his dedication firsthand through his 40 years in the industry, and we believe he is the advocate our members need at the national level.
What sets Rock apart is his boots-on-the-ground perspective on the issues hitting us hardest. He isn’t looking past the cattle crisis on the West Coast; he’s making it a priority, pushing for the strategic planning necessary to stabilize our sport's most vital resource. While he understands the West, we are equally impressed by his commitment to national unity. His plan to pour energy into East Coast affiliates shows he understands that a stronger NCHA requires growth in every corner of the country, not just the traditional hubs.
Rock recognizes that the heart of our association lies with the Amateurs and Non-Pros. He is fully committed to supporting our Amateurs, who are currently thriving, while simultaneously focusing on expanding the Non-Pro division. He sees the immense value these members bring to the association and is dedicated to being a leader who actually listens to the ideas coming from the dirt to ensure that growth is member-driven.
