Handling is something overlooked in beagles. Beagles should be able to be recalled in a variety of situations.....You should never have to chase a hunting dog!!

Little running and a little woods lunch today to test out some new gear......boys liked making lunch in the woods and looked forward to doing it again.....looks like i found a way to keep them out there a little longer. Best part whole stove weighs only a couple ounces....less than a pound in freedom units.

We train just as hard if not harder in the "offseason". Today was a rip roaring day in the woods and fields of western pa. A big change from the beaches we were on yesterday but the dogs didn't miss a lick.

Congratulations goes out to our little buddy Royce who shot his first rabbit today over a couple of Hunter Thomas Bred dogs. The smile says it all folks. Kids and beagles are a natural pairing in the woods.
