🚨 WE ARE OUT OF SPACE, SLIDELL 🚨

Our shelter is completely overwhelmed. EVERY single kennel is full. Dogs are being forced to live in crates because we have nowhere left to put them. Puppies. Seniors. Large dogs. Small dogs. Heartworm-positive dogs trying to recover safely — they just keep coming, and we are running out of options.

We urgently need fosters RIGHT NOW!

If you have ever thought about fostering, this is the time. Lives are depending on it. Even taking one dog into your home temporarily could save another dog from sitting in a crate.

We provide everything — food, supplies, and full support. You just provide a safe place and a little love.

These dogs are scared, stressed, exhausted, and desperate for comfort. They do not understand why they are here or why no one has come for them. They need people willing to step up.

Please, Slidell — we cannot do this alone. We are begging our community to help us before this crisis gets even worse than it is!

When Brulee first joined the family, their owner was nervous about introducing a new puppy to Scout and had concerns about whether they would get along.

During these midday visits while their owner is away for the workday, Scout has gained so much energy and is back to playing again, while Brulee is becoming more confident on walks and getting comfortable with the world around her.

Over time, Scout and Brulee have formed such a bond and now enjoy walks, playtime, and each other’s company like best friends. 🐶✨

🐾 𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀!🐾
I recently had the pleasure of pet-sitting two amazing pups, and I wanted to share the journey of one of them.
When I first arrived, Precious was terrified and completely resistant to going for walks. 🐕🚶‍♀️

She wouldn’t even let me put on her leash without looking at me like I was about to do something scary. 😓 But after just one visit, something incredible happened!

By the second day, Precious started trusting me more and finally let me put the leash on her without hesitation. 🙌 Soon after, she was happily walking alongside me and her housemate, Teddy—tail wagging and enjoying the fresh air. 🐶🐶

Zoe is taking her post-spay recovery very seriously, rocking the ultimate ‘safety first’ look with her onesie and E-collar combo. We enjoyed a slow, sunny stroll today to get some fresh air, and she didn’t let the extra gear slow her down one bit! ☀️🐾
