ALL PET PARENTS- BE AWARE!!!!! Please read!
When we have a puppy go home, I am as diligent as possible, to let new puppy owners know: DO NOT take your new adorable puppy outside, to stores, let others hold/pet/handle your puppy, until it’s had at least 3 vaccines!
This is hard, understandably, as you would be excited to show off your new cute fur baby- but this is for the safety of your new puppy!
I CANNOT stress this enough- when bringing a new puppy home- prepare your house with a strong cleaner (bleach or KennelSol is best) to kill germs, viruses and bacteria.
These babies are very susceptible to picking up infections and viruses, that can even be brought into the house by your shoes.
If you have other dogs in the house- keep their paws wiped down each time they enter your home, with the new puppy.
Our pups go home pad trained, and should be kept on pads until they’re vaccinated enough to go outside and their puppy bodies can handle the new exposures.
If you’re insistent on taking your puppy outside in your yard to start potty training, wash your yard down with bleach, or WYSIWASH (Amazon), before ever letting your puppy outside.
Please be aware of the dangers, unseen viruses and germs can have on a small puppy, and take every precaution to keep them safe, happy and healthy. 🥰
