Today is EARTH DAY!! 🌎🌎🌎 Our small business is always looking for ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. ♻️ These are some of the ways we are acting mindfully, in the best interest of our planet:
💚Pet sitting & dog walking clients receive their daily notes electronically, in real-time, from our team members, rather than on paper notes.
💚We invoice for our pet care services electronically and accept electronic payments.
💚Shopping bags are made of 100% recycled paper and are recyclable when you are finished using them. And this includes the bags used on our Good Dog Treat Bar. Just tear off the metal tab on the top of the bag, and recycle the rest!
💚Receipt paper is BPA Free and non-toxic, so it can be recycled. Better yet, ask to receive your receipt via email or text!
💚All of the packaging that comes with the products arriving at our store are recycled to the fullest extent allowed.
💚One of our product distributors - PetFoodExperts - delivers their products to us in reusable cardboard boxes. After we unpack an order, we save the boxes to give back to the driver the following week.
💚Open Farm & Earthborn customers bring back the empty packaging from their food & treats. We then send it out to Terracycle for recycling.
💚We sell products that are made from recycled materials: P.L.A.Y. plush toys (recycled plastic bottles), Greenline landfill-biodegradable p**p bags (biobased materials), Tall Tails toys (recycled plastic water bottles), Zogoflex toys from West Paw are made from recycled materials, AND their spent toys can be returned to our store for recycling into new toys.
💚Tags from the Tuesday's Natural Dog Company chews & treats are recyclable! We send them out and the tags are used to make new display fixtures, like the one we have at our store.
💚Grooming products sold in our store & used in the Lucky Dogs Grooming Spa contain natural and organic ingredients: shampoos, skin balms, ear cleaners, and coat sprays.
💚The Lucky Dogs Grooming Spa uses radiant heat to heat the space. This is energy efficient and the dogs love how cozy & warm the floor is on their paws.
💚Flea & Tick prevention products that we sell contain only natural ingredients -- no harmful chemicals!
