Good morning. For those families setting up for their new puppy to arrive, we have a few pieces of information for you.
We strongly suggest you pick up some of the dog food I'm posting below. Get at least one bag so you can slowly transition them to whatever food you will be feeding them.
We are using Cedar chips to help with the potty training but they have also been taught on puppy pads. We don't know what life they will walk into, so we try to give them as many experiences as possible while here.
They are spending their days away from mom and this week will be away from mom completely to help ready them for their new families.
They are eating just regular dry food now. So no need to add water any longer. We eat around 9a.m., 2p.m. and 7p.m. however, we have changed that up from last week, again...we are trying to keep them flexible so they will easily adjust to a new home schedule.
The 8th. Is pick up day. Please p.m. me with a time that you are planning to arrive.
Those pups being "delivered" June 11th or 12th. I will be in contact with times as we head out. I will know the day for sure this coming week.
It's important to remember that moving can be stressful on the pups, though we try everything we can to keep them flexible, they are still with folks they know and their siblings. So expect a possible upset tummy or crying or fear. It shouldn't take long for them to pull out of it, but if it happens just know it's normal.
Each pup will be getting shots this Thursday and will have their last vet check while in my care. Pictures posted Thursday with updated weights.
Each pup will come home with a puppy pack, which will include a puppy pad for the ride home incase.
We look forward to meeting you all and wishing our pups well.
Please call your vet and schedule your pups next shots now. They will need them around week 9.
We do still have two females available.
