If it's too hot for you, it's probably too hot for your dog. Heat stroke among canines is common, vets say, and easily preventable. Cookies for Furry Friends Foundation!
Seven-year-old Eve Sopke presented Furry Friends Foundation with $132 made selling cookies at the High Desert Corvette Club/Lithia Chevrolet car show last month. Eve and her grandmother Sandi Burgess, spent the greater part of a week making the cookies. Eve has 2 dogs and 1 cat and decided that she had enough toys and wanted to help others with pets. THANK YOU EVE! (Pictured, Eve's Grandmother, mother and Eve presenting the cookie cash to Furry Friends volunteer Kelly Webb. - photo provided by The Nugget Newspaper)

No one plans to lose their dog, but it happens on a regular basis in Central Oregon. Fireworks are illegal in Sisters City limits, Oregon state parks, campgrounds, and on state and federal forest lands but you'll still hear them and so will your dogs.

These are always so fun to watch, presented by We Rate Dogs. Have you seen a car sticker that says "Tell Your Dog I Said Hi" ?
They're from these folks who do incredible work paying for large veterinary bills through their online presence and merchandise sales.
