If you love helping people with their fur babies, thrive in a fast paced environment, and are good at multitasking, this is the place for you!

The position would be around 25 hours per week. Mornings and afternoon shifts, and two Saturdays per month included.

We want to wish a big congratulations to one of our favorite girls, Nika! Nika completed her chemotherapy protocol for cardiac hemangiosarcoma (cancer on her heart) this week. She is in clinical remission, with no detectable sign of cancer.

At Siouxland Animal Hospital, we strive to bring our patients the most convenient and high-quality services possible. In order to continue providing the best level of care during daytime business hours, as well as to protect the long-term health and well being of our team, we have decided to team up with Vet Triage, a convenient and affordable after-hours veterinary video tele-health platform.

In the event of an after-hours emergency, a Vet Triage veterinarian will assess your pet on video or over the phone to determine whether the ailment your pet is facing constitutes a medical emergency.

If the Vet Triage veterinarian determines your pet’s condition is a medical emergency, they will swiftly arrange an after hours visit with one of our local on-call doctors for treatment on an emergency basis. If your pet’s ailment is not deemed a life-threatening emergency, safe advice and home monitoring instructions will be given to you by the Vet Triage doctor so you can care for your pet until our clinic is open to schedule an appointment.

Vet Triage prevents unnecessary traveling and costs to you, our valued pet parent, and allows our staff to get the rest they need so they can provide the excellent service you are used to receiving during operating hours. Getting that piece of mind is priceless! We know that you will find Vet Triage veterinarians to be knowledgeable, compassionate, and timely.
