An unfortunate end to the hunting season for Abbey. Her and Ozzie were chasing a rabbit, and I think Ozzie stepped on a stick and it caught her behind the shoulder. 20+ staples later and a drain and we hope that she can heal quickly! Crazy bad luck!

The saga of Abbey “destroyer of cones” continues….
After no incidents of violence against her t-shirt protector, she took a few moments of freedom post potty to thoughtfully remove 2 of her staples to create a drain hole for her wound/seroma.
So now back to the cone, but not a cushy foam one…bets on how long it will last?
Already need to call in duct tape reinforcements after a few hours. 😤👿

My friend shot a buck this morning. And decided to take Abbey out to see what she would do. She followed the track very well. At one point she took the wrong trail and corrected herself fairly quickly. When she saw the deer she froze and didn't know what to do!
