Thank you to all who came out and supported our annual Christmas Parade. The weather was not the best, but we had a GREAT time.

Thank you to our loved "Santa Tribe" for always making it so memorable for all our littles (& bigs).

Thank you to all who help plan and make the event happen:
Quana Mayo, Simpson Volunteer Fire Department, Simpson High School.

Thank you Simpson Community Events Committee, for hosting a GREAT Gumbo dinner and providing treats, movie for all.

Also, the most Thanks to our parade participants. It was indeed a "damp" day, but you persevered and helped make it a success.

Again, Thanks to all.

It’s Christmas Time in Simpson!!
🎅🏼 Come enjoy the Parade at 3 pm! See Santa, Mrs. Claus and Elves! Visit them after the parade in front of the school , have some Gumbo and stay for the Grinch movie!
We can’t wait to see you! ❤️💚

We have Santa and Mrs Claus & their tribe, ready to roll on Sunday!
Please Be sure to make plans to attend our Christmas Parade.

We will also have activities going on afterwards at the school.
Visiting & Pictures with Santa’s tribe, SCEC is selling Gumbo & presenting a Christmas movie for all.

Village Christmas Parade, Santa's Gumbo, & Movie

🚒Parade Lineup: 2:30pm (Simpson Baptist Church)
🚗 Parade Rolls: 3:00pm
🥣Gumbo Served: Immediately following the parade (Simpson Gym)
🎥 Movie Time: 4:00pm (Under the Simpson High Pavilion)
🚒 Come JOIN the parade fun! Its FREE and ALL are welcome to participate! Please direct Parade/lineup questions to the Village of Simpson.
🥣 Gumbo will be served in front of Simpson High School's Gym immediately following the 3pm parade! You can visit and enjoy the evening eating there with us or you may take it ToGo!
***Limited outdoor seating, please bring a chair 🪑
An ornament station will be set up for the kids to make ornaments (while supplies last). 🎄
🎅🏼🤶🏼Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there taking photos with the kids! An additional photo backdrop for you and your family to enjoy as well!
🎥The Christmas movie will start playing under the Pavilion at 4pm!

Unfortunately due to the high rain chance projected tomorrow evening we will be cancelling our outdoor Community Tree Lighting event. We hope to still see you all on Sunday for the Annual Simpson Christmas parade where we will be serving Gumbo, Drinks, Hot Chocolate, and a Movie at the school after the parade!

Beginning at Noon on Wednesday, November 26th-28th our office will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, December 1st.

Event: Community Tree Lighting🎄

⏰ Time: 6:30pm - 7:30pm
🗺️ Location: Simpson Village Hall
(Please park on top of hill by Village Hall - signs will be posted)
**Bring a Chair 🪑- This is an outside event!
Bring the family and help us kick off the Christmas Season with the annual Community Tree Lighting event at Simpson Village Hall! The kids can go into Santa's Workshop to shop for gifts for their caregiver which will be wrapped for them (This is a Free Service - and available while supplies last). Hot Chocolate will be available for $1. ☕️
🎶 Come support and enjoy the Hicks and Simpson Choirs performing from 7:00pm - 7:30pm. The tree will be lit at 7:30pm.
