We have welcomed a fourth doctor to our practice!! Dr. Matt Steine was born and raised just north of Atlanta. His passion for animal care started the day he was brought home and introduced to his family’s Golden Retriever, April. Dr. Steine graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. He has since spent time working in both general practice and emergency medicine. After three years in Denver, he is thrilled to be joining the Summit community. He brings expert medical knowledge and compassionate care to every patient and family he meets.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Steine embraces the classic mountain lifestyle. You’ll often find him on his snowboard, riding his bike, and hiking to alpine lakes. He is the proud pet parent of an orange tabby, Calvin and a brindle mutt, Hobbes.

Anna is a RVT that is so excited to be joining the team at SVH! She is a Colorado native that is so thrilled to have made the move from Denver to summit county! She loves skiing, running, biking her two blue heeler border collie mix pups Maki and Shoku, and her orange kitten Levi.

Welcome Leah! She is one of our new vet assistants and we are so excited to have her. Leah was raised in Massachusetts and moved to Summit County about 3 years ago. She loves skiing, waterskiing, and her yellow lab Molly!
