Sands Farms Sands Farms is a 100% family owned and operated farm. Our Christian values, stewardship for the land, and love for our animals make us who we are today.

Homesteaded thirteen years before the town of Silver Lake was established (1859) and is still where we call home in northern Indiana. The pride instated in us, has been passed down from generation to generation. Sands Farms grows corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay. On the livestock side we look after over 20,000 feeder to finish pigs and our feeder cattle operation is continually growing. Today the 5t

h, 6th, and 7th generations work on the farm from day to day. Paul Harvey once said, "And on the eighth day God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "I need a caretaker". So God made a Farmer". We feel blessed to have been called to serve and take pride in doing what God has called us to do. God willing, we will continue to do so for generations to come.

From stalk to steak! 🌽🐂Our cattle are fueled by a nutritious blend of silage (finely chopped whole corn stalks), corn, and DDGs—a high-protein byproduct of corn processing. Quality feed means healthier cattle and better beef. It all starts in the feed bunk! 💪
