Available: Angus/Highland Cross Heifer
Born: 9/8/25
This sweet heifer has been worked on the halter a few times already and is very easygoing with a calm disposition. Her mother is an excellent cow, and her sire comes from our Highland herd sire line.
She’s a nice young prospect with great genetics and temperament. Message for more information or additional photos/videos.

That’s a wrap on our Hug a Highland sessions for the season!

With the warmer temperatures arriving, it’s getting too hot for the cows to comfortably be in the pens, so we’ll be taking a summer break. We are so thankful for everyone who came out to visit the farm, love on the Highlands, and make memories with us this season! ā¤ļø

If you joined us this season, we would truly appreciate if you’d leave us a review on our page — it helps our small farm so much.

We can’t wait to reopen sessions again when the cooler fall weather arrives!

Farm find from this week—

We took down one of our ferns and a bird’s nest fell out. Looked closer and realized it was mostly made from Highland cow hair.

Pretty cool to see the birds putting it to use!

This heifer is one we’ve been especially looking forward to — Emmylou will be having her very first calf this fall and we cannot wait to see what she gives us. There’s just something extra special about those first-time mamas. šŸ®šŸ¤Ž
